Certain places hold our stories. A bench where everything changed, a building where we found ourselves, a path we walked a thousand times. These physical spaces at Fredonia bore silent witness to our growth, our friendships, and our transformation. Years later, we can still feel what it was like to stand in those spots, forever marked by what happened there.

A place I will never forget is the turf soccer field at Fredonia because that’s where I met some of my best friends and continued playing a sport I love.

Hendrix Hall as a freshman. Great times with lifelong friends in Eisenhower Hall and pickled eggs at the Fountain Grill.

Fredonia will always hold a special place in my heart and memories. It was so different from home on Long Island. My parents dropped me off after a seemingly never-ending ride. Lucky for me two girls I met at orientation were in my dorm. We navigated the campus together. We were nervous, this was a whole new world. It was beautiful. Chautauqua Hall my first home away from home. Schultz Hall, a coed dorm, fun memories in 1972. Brigham Road apts living on our own. 34 Eagle Street our house for two years Living with women that have become my lifelong friends. Bike riding to Lake Erie, stopping at a farm stand to get apples. Driving to D&F Plaza to go food shopping. BJ's was our place to hang out on weekends or any night. So many concerts to attend on campus. I had so many great times at Fredonia. Being there in the early 70's was a time of new experiences, adventures never to forget. I look forward to being back on campus next month.

Homecoming 2024

I met the best friends of my life in my sophomore year while living at Gregory Hall. 40 years later we still get together every year for homecoming. We come from across the state and across the country to get together. I never laugh more than when we are together. We call ourselves "The Family" because we were each others surrogate brothers and sisters for the years that we lived in Fredonia and still to this day I consider these people my family.

The dorms, the tv studio, the campus center. Great times with great people.
